Dear Docter,
Hi i am male 29 yrs old, 3 month back i had producted sex with sex worker in india(in my life only one time i had sex) , after sex i didnt checked whether condom is split or or but i have seen all sperms are filled in edge of the condom. after 31 days i had PCR viral loaded test and it was negative.. again after 90 days i had ELISA test that too negative.... still i have fear and need your advice whether i need to take any more test. When i went for 91th day ELISA test counsoler said that test is enough no need any test again, but still i have fear... kindly advice

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I think you are safe as far as HIV is concerned because firstly, the sexual act was a protected one.
Secondly a negative screening test for HIV on 2 different occasions with separate tests (PCR RNA at 1 months and ELISA for HIV antibodies at 90 days) is good enough and requires no further testing.
