Suggest Nutritional Supplement For Leg Swelling While Having Stomach Cancer

My father is 62 years old.He is detected with stomach cancer stage 4.He is becoming very weak day by day and cannot stand in his own.He is also having leg swelling.please suggest some nutrition supplements with the help of which he can recover his health.

Cancer is a difficult condition to treat. Stage 4 cancer is advanced disease and requires care and support to extend survival. At this time he requires to be given high protein diet and that should be easily digestible. Giving him fluids and juices will also help.

The leg swelling might be due to either hypoproteinemia or liver and kidney problems. Complete assessment of general health is required and he should be following a daily 2200 kcal diet. Please do not worry.
