Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Please tell me the reason why it was started, if it was started for heart attack reason then you need to continue and may be dose can be decreased gradually by 12.5 mg. If it was started for high BP then it can be stopped gradually and replaced with some other drug. Get back with more information.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode
