Unfortunately, hot water and lemon in the morning will not help you increase your metabolic rate or would not help in reducing weight. Weight gain occurs when the amount of energy taken in as food is greater than the total amount of energy expenditure. So, in order to lose weight, you would have to decrease the amount of food intake (in whatever form) and on the other hand increase the amount of workout and energy expenditure. It is good that you avoid sweets and coke but rather than individual items, the total amount of dietary consumption is important. Electrical muscle stimulation therapy that is available at many slimming centres, may be helpful for you. Continue yoga and morning walk.
