Suggest Methods To Handle Anxiety

hello. my boyfriend suffers from anxiety, and had to take therapy for anger disorder. recently the past few days, almost weeks he's been having episodes where initially he feels nausea, then coughs, then the cough leads to a burning pain in his chest, which makes him cough more and more violently, his heart begins to race, sometimes he has convulsions where it looks like he is about to snap his neck, he starts vomiting violently and can not stop. he seems delerious and it causes him so much pain to the point he cries. his panic attacks have gotten so bad that he cant remember certain episodes. please help me deal with this and tell me whats wrong with him... its becoming harder and harder to deal with every day.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
HI
Thanks for using healthcare magic

In panic disorder, he needs continuous treatment with antidepressant like paroxetine with low dose benzodiazepine. Better to consult a psychiatrist for proper management as these drugs are not available over the counter. He can also try some relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
