Suggest Methods To Control Blood Sugar Levels

I am diabetic for the past 10-15 years. I am taking Amaryl 1mg and Pioglar 30 mg before break fast. My blood sugar after bereak fast shhots up and comes down only after 2-3 hours. The rest of the day evrything fine. My doctor suggeted me to take Misobit 25 mg recently because my HbA1c was 7.2. Am i in the right treatment? I understand Pioglar has some serious side effects?

welcome to hcm
short answer : your blood HbA1c 7.2 is ok. it will be better if it is below 7
detailed answer: it is better to have a fasting blood sugar (early morning before breakfast) and a post prandial blood sugar that is 2 hours after your breakfast. random blood sugar levels will not give much details about your sugar status there will be fluctuations. with the treatment you are having now ,your hba1c levels are 7.2 this sounds fine
with your medications,
have regular aerobic exercises
have meals on time and give spacing between each meal.
hope this explains
