Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for writing in to Healthcaremagic.

Pityriasis alba seems to be the likely possibility, it is characterised by Post Inflammatory Hypopigmentation which manifests as light colored spots on face.

If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use either a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate, twice daily for 2- 4 weeks OR you could also use a topical immunomodulator e.g tacrolimus ointment twice daily, for 4 weeks or so.

As these are prescription medicines, I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as a prescription for these medicines

regards
