Suggest Medicine For Tearful Eyes

my uncle s eyes are always tearful as though he is crying all the time. this is very embarrassing and distressing for him. The muscles are also spastic. his opthalmologist suggested surgery to open a blocked tear duct. he does not want that. what drug options?

It is blocked tear duct. simply punctum dilatation and syringing is to be done with normal saline. It can be repeated 4to 5times. If it open up then OK or surgery may be required.
