Suggest Medicine For Stomach Upset

My daddy(62+ year) had a stomach upset and he fainted after having breakfast. Shortly afterwards, he vomitted everything he ate. He also on medication for high Blood pressure and is also diabetic. Visited a local doctor and she has given Anti biotic Novomax for stomach infection. Is there anything to worry about ?

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Since your Daddy is 62 and is diabetic and hypertensive, this may be the reason for fainting after breakfast and vomiting being secondary.
There is no problem in continuing Novamox but the cause should be well searched for.
Keep under observation for blood pressure and get serial blood sugar levels, medications to be adjusted if needed.
Also keep under observation for any development of further symptoms like loose stools, fever, neurological deficit and so on.
Take him to the Specialist if need be as proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations help to get the most proper diagnosis and plan for any further treatment if needed.
