Suggest Medicine For Menopausal Symptoms

I had been taking minivelle 0.1 mg twice a week. I decided to go off of them for a while. After about 3 months of not using them, I couldn t take the hot flashes, sweats, and had anxiety. I have been using them again for 3 days and none of my menopausal symptoms have eased up. Why are they not working now? When I first started taking them, the relief was almost instant.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. The effectiveness of hormone supplementation depends on the hormone status of the body. If the natural production has declined during the intervening period of no external supplementation, this is the likely cause of the symptoms not being relieved now when supplements are given in the earlier dose. The dosage may have to be increased or other supplements are to be added. Please discuss with your consultant gynecologist/endocrinologist for further help. Simultaneously increase fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and take breathing exercises. Take care.
