Suggest Medications For Vitiligo

Hello, i am a 17 year old boy and I have vitiligo. I went to the doctor and gave me some ointment called protopic. However i didnt tell them i also have some vitiligo on my genital area. Im too afraid to tell my mom and i was wondering if i could apply the protopic on my privates. Also i was wondering if there are any more effective treatments then the protopic because im not seeing any results. Please respond, i want it gone.

Hi,

Vitiligo is an autoimmune skin disease having genetic tendency. In my patients having vitiligo, I advise tacrolimus 0.1% oint to rub on the patches twice a day. And to take trioxsalen 25 mg tab in the morning and after two hours to expose the affected area to sunrays for 15 min. I also advise immunomodulater like levamisole 50 mg daily at night. You may apply the suggested oint on genials also. After few months, you might get good result. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
