Suggest Medications For Temperature Other Than Advil.
My 7 yr old son developed a temp last night ranging since then from 100.0 to 101.4.He has intermittently complained of a headache in the occipital region.The headache is relieved with Advil. Would you advise further treatment? He does not have sensitivity to light, nausea or vomiting, and seems to be maintaining hydration. Thank you

Hi,
It seems that your child might be having viral fever.
Viral fever is self limiting so give medicine like Advil or paracetamol to get symptomatic relief from fever and headache as needed.
Give him plenty of water and light diet.
If fever persisted after 2-3 days consult your doctor and get investigated.
