Suggest Medications For Panic Attacks Due To Smoking Marijuana

I need help.. I smoked marijuana almost about 16 months ago.. it was a stupid decision and I regret it 100 percent I have always been a happy person and junk but I did it like a few times was more pressured into it but anyway I had like a panic attack while I was smoking and I m not sure what was happening I don t remember much felt like I was going to be stuck like that forever.. it wasn t fun and I haven t done it since. But I don t feel the same.. I feel like I m stuck in something my vision is weird or not as sharp as it use to be even with my contacts in. Then I ask myself if this is permanent. I don t know what it is and I can t find a straight answer from anyone. Please help me... if anyone can get a hold of me that would be great. My phone number is 0000 or if you can answer my question from here that would be great to. Please help me become what I use to be.. please...

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for asking your query at health care magic.
I understand your concern. I am Dr Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India. I will try to help you with best of my effort.

Marijuana is a strong hallucinogenic drug. Intake of Marijuana may cause blurring of vision, imbalance, sudden severe anxiety, even panic attack characterized with choking sensation, chest pain, breathlessness, heaviness of head, dizziness, giddiness, headache, dryness of throat and mouth, fear of dyeing, fear of going crazy, fear of permanent damage to body etc.

This is due to acute intoxication with the drug. Effect of the drug usually lasts for 2-4 hrs. This time you should not worry more as it is a temporary experience. But, definitely experimentation with drugs is not a good habit.

Hope it answers your query. I wish you a better drugs free life.
