Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Seems that the white patches on your face are due to pityriasis alba which clinically presents as ill-defined, off-white colored, hypopigmented patches with some scaling.

They are commonly seen in those who have a dry skin. Vit C won't help at all.

I would suggest you to use a gentle cleanser for face wash rather than a soap, moisturize your skin twice daily and then apply a mildly potent topical steroid e.g hydrocortisone cream (cutisoft cream) twice daily over the patches for 2-3 weeks OR else you may also use a topical tacrolimus 0.03% ointment, twice daily to re-pigment the patches.

These usually makes the patches of pityriasis alba re-pigment and blend with the surrounding skin.

Regards
