Suggest Medication Which Has To Be Taken After Angioplasty

I went through Angioplasty last year with one stent. After that Doctors prescribed me to take these following medicines regularly at least for 2 yrs-Ecosprin -150 mg (Night)Clopivas-75 mg (Night) Lipvas-20 mg (Night)Imdur-30 mg (Night) Metpure XL-25mg (Morning) Inditel AM 40 (Morning) I have been taking them regularly. But due to some irregularities, from last one month or so, I have stopped taking - Clopivas, Lipvas, Metpure XL and imdur, except inditel AM 40 (Mrng) and Ecosprin 150 (night) which I have been taking regularly. Although I am not feeling uncomfortable can I continue rest of the medicines again? If yes, than which ones or all of them. Pls kindly suggest. - Ravi Shankar De (+91 0000)

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Your doctor has prescribed Clopivas, Lipvas, Metpure XL and imdur, except inditel AM 40 and Ecosprin 150. You should not stop taking any of these medicines without consulting your doctor. These all medicines are recommended to you to minimize the heart problems in future.

Inditel AM40 contains Telmisartan 40 mg Amlodipine 5 mg. It would help to keep blood pressure lowered along with metpure-XL.
Clopivas 75 mg & ecospirin 150 mg will keep blood thinner & prevent clot formation. Lipivas will help to cholesterol down. Imdure 40 would reduce load on heart.
All this would reduce risk of heart disease in you & should not be stopped without consulting your doctor.

If you are having uncomfortable feeling aftertaking your medicines, consult your cardiologist & he would change your medicines or change their dose to suit you more.
