Suggest Medication To Increase Breast Milk

I have a baby girl and now her age is 4 months old the problem is that she is not gaining her weight properly.At the time of birth her weight was 3.6kg and now her wt is 4.3 kg. Doctor said that breast milk is not sufficient for her she is not satisfying her hunger so they suggest to give powder milk Dexolac.From 2month I am giving her both breast milk also and powder milk also but then also she is not gaining her wt faster .Why? What should I do to increase breast milk? Please suggest

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

I will suggest you to opt a healthy diet containing milk and milk products, eggs and fish and green leafy vegetables.
Drink plenty of water every day.

Use of tablet Metoclopramide 3 times a day for 8 to 10 days will be of help. Please seek prescription support for the same from your treating doctor.

Also, get your baby checked up from pediatric expert, to know about any medical reason for not gaining weight.
