Suggest Medication To Cure Constipation In A Toddler?
my 14 month toddler suffers from constipation a lot. my doctor put her on ducolax medicine but that no longer seems to help. I give her a lot of liquids including prune juice, apple juice and orange juice but doesnt seem to help. i was told to give her enema into her bum and massage her but she screams when going to the toilet and a big solid lump comes out and sometime she bleeds. what can i do

Well come to HCM
No need to be too much conscious because it does not matter if child do not pass the stool for some day, in my opinion no need to give any medicine instead just encourage the child for drinking water, at the most Sorbitol solution can be tried, take care.( Comment:- Constipation is not the disease that can be treated with different medicines )
