Kind Sir,
Please seek my advice after writing back with your cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, blood sugar (if available) and I can take a look at whether diet and exercise alone can get your numbers in line with current guidelines. Also, is your thyroid functioning well? Any weight or hypertension problems? Please write back with all of this including height, weight, medications and all current lab values. Thank you for coming to HCM! Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
