Suggest Medication To Abort The Pregnancy

i have irregular periods, say once in 32 to 40 days. 24th Jan 2011 i got my last period. Had unprotected sex after 15 days. Now i am testing positive for pregnancy. its already 40 days from last period. how can i abort now? i am not married & i am from Bangalore, India

Hi,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, you should get the pregnancy clinically confirmed by a specialist. This should be followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and also to know the age of the pregnancy. If you do not wish to retain this pregnancy, you can undergo an induced medical abortion under medical supervision until 9 weeks of gestation, beyond which surgical abortion is needed.
