Suggest Medication For Urinary Tract Infection

Hi.over the last two weeks sometimes when i wipe after urinating there are tiny bright red specs of blood on the tissue.i have no abnormal pain or discomfort apart from a dull ache n upper right back that i get very often for years.i have suffered from ovarian cysts n the past but at my last ultrasound ten months ago i got the all clear. I often get the urge to urinate but when i go there is very little. Again this has been a very common symptom for me that iv had for many years. I have n recent months started cyclin alot. What could be causing this bleeding? Thanks in advance. Lynn

Bleeding while passing urine (hematuria) with urgency and pain in abdomen are suggestive of chronic infection of bladder ( Cystitis) .

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
