Suggest Medication For Toe Nail Infections And Ringworm

my doctor prescribed terbinafine for my toe nail infections, plus I have a chronic case of ring worm. I looked at the warnings associated with this medications and It scared me off. So I m looking at fluconizole as an alternative, but I want to know how it compares to terbinafine?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having onychomycosis and tinea corporis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal lotion like clotrimazole lotion twice daily on nails and skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
