Suggest Medication For Stomach That Do Not Cause Any Side Effect To Stamach

I am 55, professor of Physics at University of delhi and a diabetic for the last 10 yrs. I am also a patient of Anxiety neurosis and IBS. I am taking D VENIZ 100 mg OD and ETILAAM 0.25 mg 1 BD For diabeties I was taking Janumet but this medicine created a heel for my stomach so I discontinued and switched over to homeopathic medicine SYZYGIUM JAMB Q. But this medicine proved ineffective. Yesterday I have nervousness and went to hospital in casualty. My Random sugar level was 417. The doctor gave me 12 units of insulin. Please suggest any medicine that does not create problems for my stomach. Regards Dr Hemant Kumar
Hi sir, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
There are many other drugs aother than metfomin. They are like sulphonyl ureas, gliptins, glitazones. Acarbose etc., The sugar level you have mentioned much high to normal and so treating doctor prescribed insulin. Once the sugar levels are in control with insulin, under treating doctors advice try out the other drugs, slowly reducing the insulin dosage. But if the sugar levels are not in control with drugs, then insulin will only be the choice.
Once the sugar levels come to control, you can discuss thid with your treating doctor.
