Suggest Medication For Stomach Cramps Due To Excess Running

Hi, i'm a 15 year old female, no health problems, 9st 7lb, 5ft 7" and i have been having problems during running. After about 10 minutes i get a pain in my stomach and have to stop. its not cramp but it makes me feel sick. i have to kneel down and hold my stomach until it goes. its the sort of pain that you get when desperate for the toilet. I have had this problem since i was 11. Please help.

Hi,

I am so sorry to hear about this abdominal pain. This is not a common finding and probably consulting a doctor for full evaluation and treatment would be a very helpful step. Is this pain of the same intensity whether you do vigorous exercise or mild exercise? How long does it last when you stop exercising? I will suggest for now that you do moderate exercises and let's see whether you would have the same symptoms.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
