Suggest Medication For Severe Stomach Pain And Continuous Vomoiting
my mom who is 54 yrs old is occaisionally suffering from severe stomach pain.....and the doctor has given her the doses of voveron injections 7-8 times at once.......this pain is cuming monthly twice or thrice.....during this she has severe stomach pain and continuous vommitting........according to the doctors of CHANNAN DEVI HOSPITAL , NEW DELHI....gastro dept doctor is telling tat small intestine which is very long gets twisted from some place........if gas dosent passes out....his problem gets worse.......she feels very weak...and moreover she is nt able to eat or digest the food she eats.......so considering the above written case plz suggest me some doctors or some solution for this problem as the doctors are saying tat if she undergoes an operation then she might suffer more........she is normal wit a normal weight of 52 kgs and height 5"4......so pls suggest some thig so tat she can get relief........

Pain in abdomen and regular vomiting in India may be due these possibilities , these include.
1 The first possibility is of hyper acidity or Hiatus hernia . Diagnosis can be confirmed by upper G I endoscopy.
Try raising the head of your mother''s bed about 4 inches with blocks. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2-3 hours before she lie down. To help control stomach acid one should not drinks with caffeine in them or excessive tea or eat chocolates or spicy or fried or greasy food .
Also give her some antacid ( if it contains oxetacaine then good ) but if symptoms are severe she may need drugs like pantaloc- D once or twice in day.
When such patient visit my clinic I prescribe them to take REBAMIPIDE 100 mg 2-2 - 2 ( 2 tablet three times in day ) for 3-6 months.
2nd possibility is tension and anxiety .
3rd reason of such symptoms may be due to over eating so avoid.
Also give her ondansetrone mouth dissolving tablet before each tablets for few days .
