Suggest Medication For Severe Loose Motions In A Diabetic Patient

My mother is 66 years old and diabetic. Taking diabetic medicine wellformin , etc.. Recently she got loose motion and gone to toilet 20 times a day..having pain in stomach as well... We gave her darolac aristo Sache 1 mg .. Please suggest some medicine for quick relief...

Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. Your mother might have got an infection of the gastro intestinal tract. I would suggest to give darolac sachet three times a day along with appropriate antibiotic like norfloxacin 400 mg 2 times a day and metronidazole 400 mg 3 times a day. Plenty of fluids and bed rest.
