Suggest Medication For Severe Headache

I suddenly over the past week or so developed severe extremely intense headaches. They only last a few minutes but I can have 10 a day. last night I experienced one that lasted about a half hour extreme stabbing pain in my head and when it was over, I experienced very large shapes and colors that actually obscured my vision for about 5 minutes.
