Suggest Medication For Severe Anxiety, Stress And Loss Of Apetite

My partner/husband has been having an affair for the past 2 years but has come back to me now for the fourth time. He has had a major mid life crises , thought the grass was greener elsewhere but says he cannot bear to leave me or not see my again (my ultimatum , we do not have children and I have divorced him) after 34 years. My problem is how to try and help him as he is torn, anxious and stressed, not sleeping and loss of appetite. We have been seeing counsellor together for the past year and now I don t know what else I can do to help him, any advice greatly appreciated

Hello,

I can understand your concern. You both have been through a lot of ordeal and you will have to keep much patience and give it time till everything is normal as before.

I would appreciate your decision of getting counselling sessions. However, to make this phase little easier for your husband, you can visit a psychiatrist or mental health professional who has authority to prescribe you medications. He/she can prescribe your husband anxiolytics, antidepressants and/or sleep medications that can help him pass this difficult time soon.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I hope you both can return to normalcy soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
