Suggest Medication For Runny Nose And Itchiness In Eyes

hi, my 14 month old daughter has a very runny nose which seems itch and itchy eyes, she also is sneezing but she has no temp and is not coughing? Does she have hayfever or is she coming down with a cold she started getting the runny nose and itchy eyes yesterday morning

Hi.. I think it is flu like illness associated with cold, itchy eyes. I think the child will need supportive treatment with control of fever (if fever is present, with paracetamol) and nasal decongestant medication like cetrizine. If it recurs frequently then the possibility of allergic manifestations can be suspected. With Only single episode it cannot be labelled as allergic in nature
