Suggest Medication For Rashes On Entire Body

I have been having a rash all over my body off and on for over a month. My regular doctor put me on prednisone. After I finished the prednisone , the rash returned. I then went to a dermatologist. They gave me triamcinalone ointment. I have been on that for over a week. I also use an anti-itch cream for the itch. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of the rash on my face,neck,back arms, legs & feet.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain rashes over the body that is itchy can be due to causes like Allergic reaction to any food or medication or Contact dermatitis causes due to any skin cosmetics, detergents, leather,latex etc..
It can also be due to hair follicle infection caused by bacteria and known as Folliculitis..
It can also be due to Mite Infestation causing Scabies..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and blood tests can help in ruling out the exact cause of the symptoms and treat accordingly..
In case of allergic reaction, avoiding exposure to allergen and taking anti allergics like Allegra or Benadryl and steroids oral as well as injection can help..
You also need to apply steroid ointment over the rashes, do cool compresses, apply calamine lotion etc..
In case of Follicultis oral antibiotics and topical steroids and antibiotic ointment can be advised..
In case of Scabies topical Premethrin ointment and oral Ivermectin can be advised..
