Suggest Medication For Painful Wound In Leg Caused Due To Stockings
Hi doctor good morning, my name is B.N.Sujatha i am 55yrs old,from andhra pradesh. Actually from fast 6 yrs i struggling with the deep vein thrombosis in my left leg. let me explain clearly to u.
Intially there is blood defeciency in my body i taken the blood and i continuously under the bed rest for 15 days, but on the 8th i felt a little bit stomach pain, mother she justed massaged my left leg with some oil than the stomach got down but after two days my left leg got swelling day by day i swelling was increasing i went to st.marths hospital, doctor suggested to go the deep vein thrombosis scanning, he find there is some problem with the scanning and he admitted for 13 days with some medicines and while discharging he suggested to wear the stockings continuously and the Acitrom tablets.
recently 7 days back while removing the stockings i justed itched on the leg it developed a small hole, this is not curing it is giving sevier pain and it is very hot around the wound, now please suggest me the remedy to heal this wound and how to over come this pain?
At this condition on the wound wheather it is compulsory to wear the stocking on it?

Hi;
It looks like you have thrombophylebitis/venous ulcers due to advanced venous insufficiency. Wearing stocking on the wound may make wound worse. You need antibiotics and regular dressing for wound, and short-term LMWH (low-molecular weight heparin) treatment along with an oral venotonic drug may be beneficial. You must see a cardiovascular surgeon for both treatment and surgical procedures if neccessary.
