Suggest Medication For Keratosis Pilaris In A Toddler

looking for a good product to use on my toddler who is suffering from Keratosis pilaris on his arms and legs. Its is at its worst on his upper thighs, then his arms, and most recently I ve seen it spreading in small bumps onto his lower pigs/calves/shins. We tried hydrocortisone cream, which does help - but only when i apply it EVERY morning and EVERY night in large slathering quantities which i was just now reading you shouldn t do. Our pediatrician is not offering much guidance in this area - we are looking to change dr. s for a # of reasons soon. Any product recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Keratosis pilaris is quite hqrmless condition and does not need any treatment.
But fo cosmetic purposes you may use moisturising ointments, urea.salicylicacid retinoids locally.
Steroid creams can also be used to reduce redness.
Some cases have been successfully treated with laser therapy.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
