Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Excessive iron deposition at present in the joints is the major cause of joints pain. It can also accumulate in liver, heart and brain etc and symptoms will be more severe. 2. Instead of multiple bleeding, you can go for apheresis. It will reduce your iron and maybe necessary on a monthly basis. 3. Watch your diet for iron and try to reduce it. Control iron levels within normal range. Apheresis is necessary to prevent further damage and reverse what ever is possible. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
