Suggest Medication For Injury In The Thumb

I accidentally stabbed my thumb with the piece of metal from my retainer as I was taking it out...and it just looked like a small cut like a papercut but later throughout the day it got hard and a white small ball came out, I think it s pus. I m a little worried. Could I get tetanus? I don t remember if I m due for another one since it s about every 10 years..

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to your thumb with a piece of metal. I think it got infected as small bead of pus came out. You are advised to take antibiotics and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B complex and vitamin C help in promoting healing. You are advised to get tetanus.
