Suggest Medication For Flu And Loose Stools
i feel really ill, having had flu like symptoms since a month before xmas - cols sweats at nights very weak and light headed heart racing at times and a very pale look feeling sick and very very loose stools, my four year old daughter has the same symptons but have started on her 2 weeks before hand we both had the bug - severe vomiting and then a major cold and now we have this no one else in the house has it - please tell me what i can do to stop it as i feel awful.......

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of flu and loose stools. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to viral infection or viral pharyngitis, it could be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day , drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and blood test . Usually it will go away by its own in few days , but doctor may prescribe antiviral like acyclovir , anti inflammatory along with drug like sucralfate to heal throat lining in severe cases .
