Suggest Medication For Fever & Sore Throat

daughter 20 fever 101 plus soar throat body ache severe back pain top jaw throbbing pain in waves head ache hurts to even move, went to clinic, not strepp not ear infection says viral prescribed advil. pressure good pulse 136 was better for about 3 hrs today then back to high fever and all the rest, is in tears with this

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever & sore throat which seems to be due to infection of upper respiratory tract and it is due to poor immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day. You should take combination of levocetirizine along with amoxicillin for 3-5 days. Milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric taken at bedtime will be helpful for you. Avoid eating spicy and heavy food.You should take ginger ,lemon juice and honey to soothe your throat. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should go for blood and sputum test. Ranbaxy Azax 500 mg is right medication, you should take it along with anti inflammatory drug to avoid further exaggeration. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Maintain hygiene rinsing with antimicrobial mouthwash.
