My brother sexually messed with me when we were young. I blocked it out but he later apologized and I barely remember it but it bothers me a lot as I suffer from bad depression today and wonder if there is a link. I know he apologized but I don't take his apology that seriously because he has predatory behavior when it comes to younger women like women who are mentally disabled and very little girl like and he should have realized did not have the capacity to consent to sexual activity. I feel like he is repeating the pattern he did with me. Also, he used to go to a nightclub when he was in his late 30s that was for 17 and older and my husband and I found that very weird. He does not do this anymore as he is married but even the woman he married is physically disabled and has a condition that makes her very short so she looks little girl like in that manner. It would not seem strange if he did not have such a background. I don't know whether to bring it up to him or not but I have had a lot of problems over the years and wonder if it is related. It just feels creepy to be around him. He offered back in 2010 to go see a therapist together about it but then I went into a really bad depression in 2011 and have been in it ever since. I actually had forgotten about until I came across an e-mail talking about it. I have had a lot of memory problems with my depression. What do you think I should do? No one else in the fam8ily knows about it. I have a very dysfunctional family.
