Suggest Medication For Cold & Fever

my 6 year daughter has a temperature of 96.0, 2 hours ago it was 97.4 and she was complaining that she was very cold, she has several clothes and blankets on and feels very cold to touch. we were recently in cuba and she has had diarrhea and stomach cramps, the pool was also shut down after it was badly comtaminated and she had been swimmng in it for days

Thanks for the query.
Most fevers are due to infections that are not serious and do not last long.
But as you said she is exposed to contaminated water and now she is complaining of chills and fever, i would suggest you to do complete blood count, blood and urine culture.
In meningitis , septicemia there might be cold hands or feet - even if there is a fever.
Chills also present in malaria, urinary tract infection, viral illness.
Consult your doctor and get the workup done.
