Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of chronic sinusitis which is due to condition called granular pharyngitis/ upper respiratory tract infection. It seems to be due to poor and compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid hot, sharp , spicy food substances , do warm saline rinses and carbonated beverages. Consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and rule out condition like strep throat and viral infection . Start with warm saline gargles and betadine gargles 3-4 times a day. For pain and swelling you should take ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics (penicillin or amoxicillin ) or anti viral drug depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestants and anti inflammatory. Take steam inhalation along with vaporizers. Avoid cold carbonated beverages.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
