Hello The main symptoms which you have mentioned are repeated intrusive thoughts and sleep disturbance. There are sone possibilities for your problem which i would like to tell you. First is that you might have and obsessive disorder. The thoughts are coming to your mind and you are unable to control them. And this affecting your sleep too. Second is depressive disorder. The thoughts are mainly negative and you have low mood and energy levels and sleeplessness becuse of these thoughts. Third is anxiety disorder. You are unable to concentrate because you have chain of thoughts in your mind about unimportant or less important issues. This is causing difficulty in sleep and breathing and you become restless.
Regarding treatment, the options available are antidepressant drugs like sertraline, fluoxetine etc. Also some psychotherapy sessions like that of COGNITIVE THERAPY can be helpful.
Please visit a psychiatrist and talk about this. Thanks.
