Suggest Medication For Blood In Phlegm And Severe Coughing

Hello! I had 2 shots last night and both I swallowed wrong. Had a lot of coughing and voice was really hoarse. Woke in the middle of the night with a sore throat feeling and coughing up phlegm. Haven t felt very good all day today and did a lot of coughing, sneezing, burping, and coughing up phelgm. A little while ago I coughed up bloody phlegm but now it is clear again. Is this something I should worry about or will it clear up on it s own? Thank You!

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should get done chest x ray to rule out
1. Pneumonia
2. TB
As blood in phlegm is seen most commonly in above two conditions.
If chest x ray is normal, than you might have Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI). URTI can cause excessove coughing and die to these chances of friction bleeding are high. So take good cough suppressants, drink plenty of fluids, start antibiotic (macrolide group).
