Suggest Medication For Bloating Of Stomach, loss Of Appetite And Hair Loss

I took birth control for one month then I started taking the placebo pills so my menstruation came. The final day of my menstruation (seven days after i stopped taking birth control) i took an morning after pill and didn t start taking birth control. So: birth control for one month, 7 days after: morning after pill. Now my period is 17 days late, I have two negative urine pregnancy test that i did when the period was 13 days late, and no pregnancy symptoms AT ALL (no nause, etc). But i have a lot of gas, i feel bloated, i go to the toilet frecuently (#2), and recently everytime I eat i feel very bloated and stomach and lower belly part hurts (not that much, it comes and go)! I dont know if my ovaries hurt. I have also loss of appetite and my hair falls A LOT. Can I be pregnant? I would be four weeks pregnant, why my period doesnt come?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Emergency contraceptive pill contains high dose of progesterone. This creates hormone disruption and leads to withdrawal bleeding and/or a delayed natural period in the next cycle by one or two weeks. Your gastrointestinal symptoms seem to be due to some infection, which needs to be evaluated and treated. Your cycle is no longer protected since you are not on any form of contraception. I would ask you to go for a sonogram of the pelvis in the trans-vaginal route, to clarify. Hair fall can be a side effect of hormone imbalance. Please report to your health care provider for further help. Take care.
