I appreciate your concern and asking on health care magic. In bipolar disorder your emotions go out of proportion, in the high phase you may feel elated or irritable and once the high phase (mania) is over you tend to go into depression. The medicines provide stability of mood and the antipsychotics cause the emotional blunting but in the overall benefit i think some emotional blunting is something you have to deal with. Delusions can be present in patients with bipolar disorder, so presence of delusion does not rule out bipolar disorder. With psychiatric medications there can be decreased emotional response to emotional experiences. Your medications can be changed/ dose can be adjusted so that you do not experience these feelings
