Suggest Medication For Artery Blockage And High BP

Hei, I may not be able to assists you with accurate technical details, as I'm not very sure at the moment..But i'm looking for some general advise

My dad is 56yrs of age and until 6months back has had a decent medical record. However a couple of months back during a routine medical check it was identified that he has had some artery blockage in his heart & also a high BP on tht particular day. After all examinations & testing, the doctor recommended either angiography or the routine medicines. He is been on the medicines for a whil and all seems good till date. We would need advise on - when is the right time or what is the right case that must be diagnosed by Angiography and when is it OK to continue the routine medicine cycle as an alternative?

Hello,
For high bp, he should have low salt diet and regular medicine.
Usually, one comes to know about blockages either due to chest pain, or some test positive like treadmill test or other test. If there is suspicion of blockages, then routinely one should undergo angiography to know how severe are the blockages. So I think, if there is suggestions of blockages on other tests in your case then he must undergo angiography.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
