Suggest Medication For Acne

I m 59 years old (male) and i suffer from acne.. I ve been told that if i take doxycycline or tetracycline that i need to stay out of the sun because you can get sunburn while taking these antibiotics.. My problem is that i live in Thailand so it s very difficult to stay out of the sun.. I d like to know if there s any other antibiots that i could take and still go in the sun.. Thank you, George Queen.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Acne is a disease of the hair follicles of the face, chest, and back that affects almost all teenagers during puberty. It is not caused by bacteria, although bacteria play a role in its development. Acne occurs when sebaceous glands attached to the hair follicles are stimulated at the time of puberty or due to other hormonal changes. Sebum is a natural substance that lubricates and protects the skin.
Advice
1.     Apply locally clindamycin 1% solution/gel at bed time for a month
2.      Use Acne aid soap three time daily for cleaning your face
3.     Have a good sleep of 8 hours and drink 3 – 4 liters of water daily
4.     Do not squeeze pimples as it will cause scarring
5.     Try to avoid use of unbranded cosmetics unnecessarily
6.      Have patience - Any treatment of acne may take two or three months to start working
7.     Apply over the counter sunscreen with SPF more than 30 while in sunlight
8.     Investigation – blood sugar (F & PP)
Thanks
