Suggest Medication For WBC - 16.5 With Hematocrit Of 34.3

My 10 year old daughter has an WBC of 16.5 with Hematocrit of 34.3 and has free fluid that showed in her pelvis on a CT scan, should I be concerned? She has been having frequent abd. pain as well as joint pain and fever that has been coming and going the last couple months.

Hi, welcome to HCM.
Hematocrit of 34.3 means that hemoglobin is around 12 mg/dl, which is normal for this age.
WBC of 16.5 indicates infection, normal WBC count is between 4 to 11 thousand.
CT scan is showing free fluid in abdomen which also suggests infection.
In my opinion, child should be investigated for tuberculosis, gram negative sepsis.
Further treatment will depend on above investigations.
