Suggest Medication For ADHD In A Child

My Son is 11 years old and apparently been told by his pediatrician he may be on the fringes of ADHD. On Evaluation by a Psychiatrist he was said to have Inattentiveness. He does well in studies and gets the highest grades. He keeps complaining of boys who bully him. He speaks of one boy who torments him year after year. Once last year it was x and this year it is y. The most worrying factor for me is that he is now talking about suicidal issues and leaving the earth etc. the shock came when he wrote steps to die and he issues a death certificate for himself. People say he must be given medications..are there alternate medicine. Will Homeo medicines work really?

1. since he is preoccupied with death in conversation,writing,drawing and also making suicidal statements, it is extremely important that you take all threats of suicide seriously and seek immediate treatment for your child, talk with your parents, friend, or your doctor right away to get some help.
2. problem at school [bullying] is one of the triggering factor of suicidal thought, talk with school authorities/administration about the same.
3. At this stage, you should incorporate following guidelines and later restore to alternate system of medicine.
i. Get professional help: either mental health professional, [for bipolar disorder] treatment facility, or a doctor's appointment.
ii. Follow-up with treatment.
iii. Encourage positive lifestyle changes, exercise is also extremely important as it releases endorphins, relieves stress, and promotes emotional well-being.
