Suggest Latent TB Tests

Hi.. I received a tb test on Wednesday where the technician did not use an alcohol swab and also I had pretty significant bleeding. I went back Friday to have it read and it took 3 people to determine whether or not it was positive. It was red but there was no visible sign of induration. They were feeling both arms and trying to decide if I had a bump or it was just my muscle. One person finally decided he thought he felt a bump so they claim it measured 13 and called it positive. I was reading that if you are at low risk and don t have any risk factors you are only positive if 15 or more us measured. I am waiting on the results from my chest xray but strongly believe they administered the test wrong. Given this information what are the chances this is a false positive and how can I prove it so I m not considered to have latent tb.

First tell me why you undergo this mantaux test. Do you have any symptom of tuberculosis like fever, cough, weight loss or any other symptom. Because positive mantaux test doesnt mean you have tuberculosis.it only indicates infection and only a supportive test to diagnose tuberculosis
