Suggest Iron Rich Diet For Low Iron Levels

hi doc.i have 1.0 iron in my body.my whole body is turning pale n i am weak.and i have more white cells than the red.can you please guide me on what to eat.n which fruits and vegetables should i eat that are rich in iron.and i have kidney infection so maybe things that are not to acidic.

Dear friend, i appreciate your interest to improve your iron levels ... if iron levels are very low you better go for iron injections .... which is the best ... iron is present in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food stuffs ... but iron present in non-vegetarian food stuff is better absorbed if you are a non vegetarian please take egg/fish/meat ... you can also go for iron tablets with vitamin C which will help in better absorption of iron ... one more thing is that you should know what is the cause for this iron deficiency the root cause should be removed.. like hook worm infestation / piles /bleeding gastic peptic ulcer ...please do contact us for more queries ... thank you
