Suggest Home Remedy For Wrist Pain

Just yesterday I was lifting the head of a stretcher when I felt something click in my left wrist. Ever since then I can not lift anything over 2-3 lbs due to the amt of pain I feel on the outside of my left wrist. Is there some home treatment I could be doing at home to see if it improves before going to doctor?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely sprain. In such cases ice application and immobilization with elastic bandaging helps.Short term NSAIDs helps in relieving of pain. But it is better to rule out a stress fracture by taking an X ray.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.

Apply ice packs and use a firm wrist band so that blood flow to hand does not get blocked. Stabilize hand. If it dors not resolve consult an ortho surgeon. There may be a ligament injury or a fracture.
