Suggest Home Remedy For Itchy Bump In Labia Minora

Hi, I had a small itching sensation in my labia minora two days ago and when i itched it turned into a red rash with swelling.i washed it with warm water frequently and the itching stopped but the rash still remains and it iritates. Now there is a small pimple like bump there.Suggest me some home remedies. Is it something serious?There is no foul smell or puss or spreading.

Dear thanks for the question.

Firstly I would like to advise you not to try home remedies without visiting a doctor as it could be serious which may be missed. Itchy bumps in vagina is mostly fungal which is not local. In your case it seems to be located in a defined area it is most probably bacterial in origin.

You can try a course of antibiotics (azithromicin 500 mg once a day for three days) along with pain killers (ibuprofen). Also give due attention to hygiene.
